Coach Patrick Gallagher has been running and racing since 1999. Since that time he has completed races of nearly every possible distance between 5k and 100 miles.

In the past few years, he placed 5th overall at the Barkley Fall Classic 50k, a grueling “baby” version of the notorious Barkley Marathons, earned 1st place overall at the Swamp 100k, the Daytona 50 miler, and the Jacks 50k. He was also the Road Runners Club of America 50k Masters Champion in Georgia thanks to his 4th place overall finish at the challenging SweetH2O 50k in Lithia Springs, GA. He has run over 3 dozen marathons and ultramarathons, including the Western States 100 and the Boston Marathon.

Coach Patrick is also the founder and Race Director of the Gate2Gate Trail Run, North Central Florida’s premiere 25k and 50k trail race, and the San Felasco Fiasco 50 miler.
Coach Patrick personally understands the need for a work/life/health balance and enjoys providing the structure and opportunities for others to reach their goals. He is well aware of the struggles of balancing a full-time job (he has been an English teacher for over 20 years), academics (he received his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership in 2014), raising children, and training for races.
Blending over a decade and a half of running experience, countless hours of researching running and mental training, and a passion for helping others, Coach Patrick’s program and workouts can help you become a better runner and athlete.
